"WINNERS Don't make Excuses!"
Harvey Specter quotes : "WINNERS Don't make Excuses!". How To Become Successful in Life? Motivational Video to become a Winner Mindset.
00:03 Everybody has the desire to do something.
00:09 But they don't have that, they don't know how to really complete
00:12 the process of dedicating themselves and having the discipline to do it.
00:17 If you got the desire, you got a match.
00:19 Match that desire with your dedication, and you gotta match it with your discipline.
00:27 It may not happen at the moment that you wanted to,
00:30 but you gotta understand the process.
00:33 Everybody wants it yesterday.
00:37 What happens is, a lot of people set goals.
00:40 And they have this big goal and they look at it
00:41 like this giant staircase.
00:44 "That just seems impossible."
00:46 "I can't. I, there's no way. It looks too hard. It looks too much work."
00:51 And they don't ever start.
00:52 They set a goal, yeah, "I want to be at the top of that staircase'.
00:56 It's easy to write that down.
00:59 But when they go to actually start climbing it,
01:01 they just go: "Ahh, that's just so..I'm not sure.."
01:04 But if all you did was just look at the first step and get on that first step,
01:11 and then, when you're on that step, just look at the next step.
01:15 That's it.
01:16 Don't look up. Just look at that next step.
01:20 You have to understand that this is not going to be easy.
01:22 People think that it's, that there are no challenges.
01:27 Again, people want it yesterday.
01:33 Most people want the convenience of transformation, without the inconvenience.
01:41 What we do, is we kinda check out because it feels overwhelming.
01:46 Or we check out because we are afraid.
01:48 Or we check out because we start listening to self-doubt.
01:51 And then we make these teeny tiny decisions.
01:54 All day long.
01:56 We never realize it.
01:57 A decision to not get up on time.
01:58 A decision to not eat the right thing.
02:00 A decision to snap at your kids.
02:01 A decision to not speak in a meeting.
02:04 A decision to not look for a job.
02:06 Like, whatever it is, all day long these tiny decisions could take you so far off track.
02:12 And then you wake up and you look at your life and you think:
02:15 "How the hell did I get here?"
02:19 The reason why a lot of people won't become who they want,
02:23 is because they're too attached to who they've been.
02:26 And you hear it all the time when people say:
02:28 "I've always been this way."
02:29 Okay. Well if that's working for you, keep doing that.
02:32 Every single person who has ever done anything worthwhile,
02:38 or exceptional, or difficult, or extraordinary,
02:42 anyone, whether it's great artists or authors or mathematicians,
02:48 or whatever the f*** it is,
02:50 Everyone encounters difficulties.
02:53 There is no easy way road.
02:55 It does not exist.
02:56 It is impossible.
02:58 Everyone has issues.
03:01 When you come up with excuses for why other people are successful and you're not,
03:05 that it's dangerous.
03:06 When you give yourself and escape:
03:08 "Yeah, well that's easy for you to say, you know, you do this, you do.."
03:11 Trust me. Everybody has a hard road.
03:18 You have to look at the bigger picture.
03:21 You have to have belief in yourself.
03:22 And you have to have faith in yourself.
03:25 And faith is not really just having or understanding that everything would be okay,
03:29 but faith is, is understanding that if things don't go your way,
03:34 or if it doesn't turn out, the way you want to,
03:37 it's still gonna be okay.
03:39 We all go through hard times.
03:41 We all go through depression.
03:42 We all go through doubt and then moments in your life
03:45 where it's really difficult.
03:48 That is what makes you a person.
03:50 And those difficult moments are what build your character.
03:53 Show me a great man who's the son of a great man.
03:57 You know, it's what we're saying.
03:58 These kids that are born billionaires, you are never going to be a self-made person.
04:03 You have a backup trust for your back up trust, for your trust.
04:08 Feel the fear and do it anyway.
04:13 If you don't push yourself, you don't find out where the boundaries
04:16 of your current skill level are, and you don't fall
04:19 you don't get in better.
04:24 No matter how talented, experienced or privileged somebody else is,
04:28 you can beat anybody at anything.
04:31 You can accomplish any goal you set your sights on.
04:35 Over time.
04:36 If you are just more consistent than everybody else around you,
04:42 you will win every race that you run.
04:47 Somewhere, deep inside, you know what kind of person
04:51 you were designed to be.
04:55 If you wanna produce great acorns, think like an oak, not like an acorn.
05:04 Think like the person you intend to become.
05:08 Every seed has a tree in it.
05:11 And the potential success of that tree is in that seed.
05:18 And that's the way you are.
05:19 Whatever you were born to do and be, is in you now
05:22 and the success of your life depends on you becoming
05:25 all that is trapped inside of you.
05:33 What kind of seed is in you?
05:38 I believe, part of our responsibility in life,
05:43 is to find out who we are.
05:47 You were not born just to make a living and keep a job, and pay bills and then die.
05:51 You were not born just to retire and get some pension, and then fade away
05:57 and they put you in the flock somewhere.
05:59 You and I were born with the gift to make this a better place.
06:06 Our circumstances and situations did not lend itself to
06:10 of being successful.
06:13 Many of us were not raised in an ideal circumstance that prepared us
06:18 for where we really wanted to go.
06:21 And even though we loved the idea of being progressive
06:27 or prospering or intelligent or spiritual, the reality is
06:32 we were not aligned in the direction that we needed to be aligned
06:36 to go to where we try to go.
06:40 Ask yourself:
06:41 "How would the person I'd like to be, do the things I'm about to do?"
06:47 Success for the next year is going to be you making another step
06:51 toward fulfilling your purpose in life, while you were born making another step.
07:01 Work to your potential, not your quota.
07:03 If you wanna stay really motivated, if you wanna answer the question to
07:08 why people that have already made it keep pushing,
07:11 it is because they don't operate quotas, they operate of potential.
07:16 You're driven to reach their potential.
07:19 This is also a tad to their ethical obligation.
07:22 They know what they're capable of.
07:25 Nobody can tell you what you're capable of.
07:27 You're the only one that knows.
07:30 Work to your potential, not just a quarter and I promise you
07:34 You will be on fire day and night!
07:38 I never expected to be anything but ordinary.
07:42 I was raised to be nice and ordinary.
07:44 I expected I would grow up to be, my dad worked for the phone company,
07:48 I figure I'd go to work for the phone company, maybe work in an office.
07:51 I figured I'd work till 65 and have 1.3,4 kids, I'd retire at 65
07:57 and then I die at the statistical average age for my, you know, my gene pool.
08:02 That's what I expected.
08:03 Until one day in 1972, on the radio in the next room to mine,
08:09 I've heard a voice that changed everything.
08:12 I've heard the voice of Earl Nightingale, known at the time as the dean of the personal motivation.
08:18 He said: "If you will spend one extra hour each day,
08:24 studying your chosen field, you'll be a national expert in that field in five years or less.
08:35 That hit me like a tornado.
08:37 It rearranged everything in my life.
08:40 If you were to focus half and hour of study on one field of endeavor for five consecutive years,
08:48 you'd not only transform you, you'd transform the world around you.
08:52 And we collectively would transform the world as we know it today.
09:00 Know how you're smart.
09:02 Not just how smart you are in comparison to others
09:04 In what ways are you smart?
09:06 Know, what you care about?
09:07 What are values that motivate your choices?
09:10 Know what your personal velocity is.
09:13 The intensity and drive with which you naturally operate.
09:17 Know the background imprint.
09:19 Positive, neutral or negative that you carry with you
09:22 and what effect it has on you.
09:24 Know your behavioral style.
09:25 How you come across to other people.
09:28 Know the patterns in your choices.
09:30 So that you're continually learning more and more about
09:34 what is like to be you, so that you can do an even better job after.
09:44 What do you want me to do?
09:47 With the time you have left?
09:50 I say that if you don't reposition yourself, you can miss the best time.
10:00 In your life.
10:04 You are not reserving yourself for your highest and best use.
10:10 We are not using our life, our time, our energy
10:15 for our highest and best use.
10:17 You're missing your life, your purpose, your passion,
10:23 your excitement, your enthusiasm.
10:32 Ask yourself every day:
10:34 "How would the person I'd like to be, do the things I'm about to do?"
10:43 If you want to be successful in life, do not seek success.
10:50 Seek to become a person of value.
10:57 Make yourself valuable and they'll pay for you.
11:03 The mind of a champion, the relentless pursuit of always winning,
11:10 always conquering, always thinking what to do next, is instilled in all of us.
11:17 If you don't have what you want, stop telling yourself the story
11:20 because you don't have money, you don't have the time,
11:22 that's bullshit.
11:23 It's because you haven't committed yourself where you would burn your boats.
11:27 If you want to take the island, burn your f***ing' boats and you will take the island.
11:30 'Cause people when they're gonna either die or succeed, tend to succeed.
11:34 But most of us give ourselves a way out and that's way we don't have what we want.
11:39 So if you and I really wanna know what it's gonna take to get your dream and make it real,
11:44 is to stop all the things you told yourself that aren't.
11:46 And I'm here to tell what I said at the top of our discussion.
11:49 80% of success is psychology.
11:53 This is the secret.
11:58 As long as you're working toward your inner goal, your dream,
12:01 then success is possible.
12:05 The most important element is for you to be able to do this.
12:08 To be able to establish.
12:09 And most important, where you really are in your life today.
12:13 Where are you?
12:15 And where do you really wanna go?
12:17 What's gonna create this extraordinary life?
12:20 And then look at it brand new.
12:22 Because some of you right now, if you continue the direction you're going,
12:26 are gonna be successful and unfulfilled, unhappy and stressed.
12:31 You have to be self-disciplined.
12:34 It's necessary.
12:36 For everything, you do in your life.
12:41 If I want a better life tomorrow, I need to start working on it today.
12:46 Ambition is a minute-by-minute, day-by-day mentality.
12:51 To have the ambition to work towards a better family life,
12:54 a newer car, a bigger house, a financially secure future,
13:00 you have to live it every moment.
13:03 If living a successful life was easy, I'm sure more people would be successful.
13:10 If, where you are is not what you saw and what you are...
13:20 What's your dream?
13:23 A dream is the most valuable, delicate gift
13:28 you could ever have given to you.
13:32 And there are people out there, that will try to steal it.
13:36 Every single day of your life.
13:41 We have the ability to live a lifestyle that fits our goals and dreams.
13:49 You have the ability to put together any type of lifestyle you want your mind, and have it come true.
13:56 It's an ability that you have.
13:58 But you need to build that dream up and watch out for the dream stealers.
14:09 Going for small accomplishments along the way for however long it takes.
14:15 So let's think about this for a moment.
14:17 What outside evidence, or results, or proofs can be seen
14:21 when you accomplish your goals one step at a time?
14:25 You'll start to see things change around you.
14:28 Little things. Not major things.
14:31 But little everyday things.
14:33 Things you may not even notice unless you are paying attention.
14:39 If you are one of those who'd rather stay up late,
14:41 and get up late, only to discover that your workplace doesn't fit your schedule,
14:46 and you roll up of bed cursing the alarm clock every morning,
14:50 maybe you could start with a little change of going to bed half an hour earlier than normal.
14:57 And maybe you'll see, in time, of course, you can't train your body overnight.
15:02 Maybe you'll find out that you jumped out of bed in a better mood.
15:06 And that your day it will start better.
15:08 And that you'll get more done.
15:11 And that the people around you that caused you problems, aren't so hard to work with after all.
15:17 It all starts by making one little change.
15:20 And adding to it, every day.
15:27 If you're creative enough can you find the answer, yes or no?
15:31 If you're determined enough can you find the breakthrough, yes or no?
15:34 If you're passionate loving enough, can you get someone to help you, yes or no?
15:39 If there's no way that you're committed, can you find the money,
15:41 even if you don't have it, yes or no?
15:44 So I said.
15:50 These are the ultimate human resources.
15:53 And when you engage these resources, you can get any other resource.
16:01 The key to Kingdom Success on Earth,
16:05 is initiating and planning the change.
16:10 Change will happen with or without you.
16:16 Time will move with or without you.
16:22 Success, therefore, is always in your hands because
16:27 everybody have to deal with both time and change.
16:35 Start changing how you look at mornings.
16:38 And sure enough, people will start changing how they look at you.
16:43 When you start changing how you think, how you act, how you treat others, how you treat yourself.
16:49 When you start responding instead of reacting to life, life will start responding to you.
16:56 I'm telling you that you can do it with your life style.
16:59 You can do it with your sales career.
17:02 You can do it with your management career.
17:05 you can do it with any part of your life.
17:09 Your dream is only a dream until it has a plan.
17:16 You can dream of the kind of life you want,
17:18 you can dream of the kind of change you want,
17:21 you can dream of the kind of future you want,
17:24 but until you wake up.
17:27 And begin to plan to get there.
17:30 Or it will only be a dream.
17:35 When you get up tomorrow morning and you're standing in front of the mirror,
17:39 getting ready for the day, remind yourself that you are somebody.
17:44 That you are important.
17:46 And that you can make the changes that will move you closer to your ideal future.
17:53 The only key to regulating and controlling change is planning.
18:02 If you don't have a plan, you have no protection.
18:07 A plan doesn't only tell you what you want to do.
18:12 A plan tells you what you don't want to do.
18:17 And so, the key to success, on your journey through this planet,
18:23 is to have a clear plan.
