"This Will Leave You Speechless!"
"This Will Leave You Speechless!" One of The Most Eye Opening Videos. Why is nobody talking about this? THIS Will Make You Re-Consider Your Entire Existence.
00:14 people have to understand are you using00:18 your devices your device using you can
00:20 you put it down can you turn it off if
00:22 you don't read the newspaper you're
00:23 uninformed if you do read it you're
00:25 misinformed that's the great question
00:30 what is the long-term effect of too much
00:33 information one of the effects is the
00:35 need to be first not even to be true
00:37 anymore so what a responsibility you all
00:40 have to be to tell the truth not just to
00:44 be first but to tell the truth we live
00:47 in a society now where it's just first
00:48 who cares get it out there we don't care
00:50 who it hurts we don't care who we
00:52 destroy we don't care it's true just say
00:54 it's sellable my biggest concern is is
01:00 the unfettered access to to social media
01:03 and cell phones quite frankly because
01:05 there's a biology to these things that
01:07 are as addictive as alcohol nicotine and
01:10 gambling
01:13 right now a family is out to dinner a
01:16 restaurant not enjoying each other's
01:18 company but each staring into the screen
01:21 of their choice completely ignoring the
01:24 family members and this is mom dad and
01:27 the children all doing the same thing
01:28 while they continue to eat they did it
01:30 the entire meal right now an infant is
01:35 getting their first iPhone and learning
01:37 to tap and swipe all while drooling on
01:40 it 92% of two-year-olds play video games
01:44 because that is what parents are putting
01:46 in front of their precious children to
01:49 keep them entertained and quiet this is
01:54 your life now no natural behavior
01:57 everybody's wearing clothes they don't
01:58 want to wear everybody's showing up and
02:00 doing something they don't want to do
02:01 they have no connection to that's the
02:03 problem with our society and then what's
02:06 the reward for all this stuff go on get
02:07 a big TV go home you're gonna get a
02:09 shiny belt buckle you're gonna get a
02:11 nice purse you're gonna wear shoes that
02:12 you couldn't afford last week you're
02:14 gonna get that dream car and every week
02:16 we're chasing down this new object and
02:18 every week we're trying to fill this
02:20 hole in this this this sad shadow of a
02:24 life that we've been left with after
02:26 work that you work eight to whatever the
02:29 hours a day plus commuting and then you
02:31 like this and that's your life that's
02:34 your real life all that other stuff is
02:37 not your life anymore all that other
02:38 stuff is work and most of us have
02:41 committed to that I know you've been
02:42 there before and I've been there before
02:44 and we we understand that it's trapped
02:48 as we got out of it but for the people
02:49 that are in it a lot of times they don't
02:51 even understand it's a trap they just
02:53 think it's a good job you think they got
02:55 dental I'm doing really good I got my
02:57 own parking spots got my name on it
02:59 and you're just a piece of a heartless
03:02 shitty machine that makes money all
03:08 these kids that are graduating college
03:09 with these $80,000 degrees that can't
03:12 even work at Starbucks
03:13 all the people who put their money in
03:15 the stock market and bought all this
03:17 real estate 2008 it all went away
03:19 don't let anybody fool you into
03:22 believing that there's a guarantee that
03:23 there's a safe way the well-trodden path
03:27 is the scariest way in my opinion right
03:30 cuz then you just spent the last 80
03:32 years of your life doing everything that
03:33 everybody else told you to do and you
03:35 never really lived or produced anything
03:38 unique if everybody's going this way go
03:42 that way we now know that many of the
03:47 major social media companies hire
03:49 individuals called attention engineers
03:51 who borrow principles from Las Vegas
03:53 casino gambling among other places to
03:56 try to make these products as addictive
03:58 as possible in South Korea Internet
04:01 addiction is classified along with
04:03 alcohol cigarettes and gambling as an
04:07 addiction you know it's about balance
04:10 it's not that they're inherently bad and
04:12 it's not that texting or social media is
04:14 inherently bad but it's when it gets out
04:16 of balance if somebody carries their
04:19 phone wherever they go
04:20 like they physically feel anxiety if
04:22 they they put it down when they with
04:25 their friends and have to have it up the
04:26 entire time looking at the phone while
04:28 they're with their friends you know when
04:30 they wake up in the morning and check
04:31 their phone before they say good morning
04:34 to the person sleeping next to them
04:35 these are problems this is out of
04:37 balance I'm not knocking the phone
04:39 what I'm saying is we have to understand
04:42 we have to at least ask ourselves around
04:45 the world you here in England wherever
04:47 you are what is it doing us
05:05 you
05:13 you
